The process we use for extracting sea salt is done the same way today as it has been for centuries. The Salinas are filled with sea water which, due to the radiating summer sun, eventually evaporates to leave behind the gift of the sea. The salt is then transported to our factory where it is purified, packaged and delivered to all points in Lebanon. Even processes that have been modernized, such as the electric pumps that today fill the salinas, are done with electricity generated from wind mills to lessen the effects of pollution to our community. Lebanon's dry summer seasons make for the ideal environment for this type of process. This unique method helps to make our salt great and of the utmost quality. This is the reason we are the largest distributor of salt in Lebanon.
